I need to apologize to the team. After the brutal cold and wind of yesterday's ride, today could not have been better. There was sunshine, little wind, and music in Avon. I headed out from St. Joe at about 1:30, and biked nearly to Albany. I headed back to Avon, got there at about 2:30 and went to the Fall Back music event at Aunt Annie's quilts. I had a wonderful two hours, listening to music and poetry readings, before I hit the trail. I got back to St. Joe, put the bike on the car and was treated to a full moon on the ride home.
On the downside, there was little wildlife on this ride, and I missed the good company from yesterday.
I will work to improve my skills at picking riding days.
25 miles, average 16 mph. (21 miles to go to 3000).
